Welcome to GraceWay Radio!

If you are actually reading this blog, then we’re assuming one of three things. First, you’re simply board to death and have nothing else to do. Secondly, you accidently stumbled onto our webpage because your cat jumped up on your keyboard and the next thing you knew – here you are! You’re not sure exactly what just happened but some of your cat’s curiosity has rubbed off on you, so you read a little. Or thirdly (and we really hope this is the right assumption) you’ve been inspired by what you’re hearing on this station and would like to know more. So, whether your basic boredom, curious cat or inspired interest brought you to this blog page, we hope you’ll take a moment to read it which will give us an opportunity to share our vision of an internet radio station that provides -

"Pure Worship; Pure Word; Pure Radio"

You see, part of our mission at GraceWay Radio is to provide our listeners with not merely commercial free content, but with content that glorifies God both in the messages as well as the music. Therefore, we’ve adopted the slogan “Pure Worship; Pure Word; Pure Radio” not to make it simply a catchy phrase but to make these words our goal. Which, by the way, is not one easily accomplished.

To provide “Pure Radio” without advertisement doesn’t mean we must merely look to you, our listeners, to help cover the costs of such an endeavor – that would be easy. We would simply spend all our efforts in fundraising, capital campaigns and a myriad of other clever marketing strategies. Although we do ask that if you have been blessed by what you hear to please make a contribution, however, we believe first and foremost that if this ministry is the Lord’s work, He will provide what is needed for this station to remain on the air. As fallen human beings, that is much harder to do than having pledge drives. That's because it requires a staff and volunteers that are, first of all, dedicated to seeking the Lord in prayer for His guidance. Where He leads, He will supply whatever is needed – be it finances, know-how, time, or energy – in other words, we will have all we need to accomplish His work. Therefore, seeking Him for each step along the way is so important. If we head off into a direction in which He is not leading, we will be left up to our own resources which are always limited, run dry and end in frustration, burn out and exhaustion.

To provide “Pure Worship” isn’t any easier either. Even though we can argue from a standpoint of personal preference or taste, (e.g., he likes hymns, others prefer the “oldies”, they like traditional, she hates slow songs) we’ve chosen to accomplish this goal by setting a plumb line to which each song must measure up – “Is it Christ Centered?”. In other words, not only do the lyrics need to be Scripturally sound but do the words, music, or tone of the song encourage us to seek the Lord, glorify Him and praise and worship Him? If not, we remove the song from our play list as soon as possible. This one aspect of our work is probably the most painstaking of all we do. With the plethora of Christian music produced today, it is a work that is also non-stop and frankly at times seems overwhelming. If the plumb line were personal preference, this job would be easy, we’d just play the type of music WE prefer, or just what was new and popular, but here again – it’s having staff and volunteers who are dedicated to prayer that make the difference we hope you are experiencing when you listen.

Personal preference could also be a driving force in choosing our speakers as well. Instead, to provide our listeners with “Pure Word” our goal is not to find the most popular, polished, or professional speakers of the day, but rather to find those who bring a message that is not only firmly rooted in Scripture, but also Holy Spirit inspired. A message that is Holy Spirit inspired won’t always be pleasant to hear; it will often challenge, most of the time convict, but will always encourage us into a deeper relationship with a Holy God. This type of message will also produce in the hearer spiritual growth. Everyone associated with this station knows this to be true from personal experience: that if you listen to a Holy Spirit inspired message a day – you can’t help but be transformed! The more you listen – the more transformation you will experience. Don’t take our word for it. If you’re hungry for more, if your hope is actually to KNOW Jesus – not just know ABOUT Him, if you’re tired or being a “wishy-washy” Christian who is in bondage to your “stinkin’ thinkin’”, selfishness, destructive habits and appetites – basically all the aspects of what Paul refers to in his Letter to the Romans as our “flesh” - then test it out for yourself. Listen to at least one Holy Spirit inspired message a day. If you’re REALLY serious about growing your Spiritual man, contact us – we’ll be happy to provide you with not only a list of our all-time favorite messages but any message you’d like to have a copy of – we can either make available to you or provide you with the information you need to obtain it for yourself. That’s just how much we believe in the Spirit inspired messages we provide on this station and that’s just how dedicated we are to help you grow Spiritually.

The one thing we hope you see from all of this – now that you’ve made it to the end of this blog – is that GraceWay Radio is NOT meant to be another type of entertainment or even a platform for the latest and greatest musical artists to display their wares – but that this is a labor of the Holy Spirit to encourage the Body of Christ to grow up into true discipleship and for the Bride to understand Her part in what it means to “make herself ready” for the wedding of the Lamb. (see Rev. 19:7)

Lastly, there are couple of things we ask of you. First, if this station as blessed you in any way – let us know. Secondly, if this station has blessed you in any way – let others know!

May the Lord richly bless you as you grow in the experiential knowledge of Him for -

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Heb. 11:6)
