This page explains what information GraceWay Radio collects when you use www.GraceWayRadio.com (the “Site”), what tools from other companies run on the Site, and the choices you have. You can listen to GraceWay Radio without creating an account and without giving us your name or email address.
Information you give us
If you send us a testimony, we collect the first name, last name, email address, state, country and message you enter in the form. If you donate, the donation form is provided by Qgiv, our payment processor, and your payment details go to Qgiv. If you email us, we receive what you send. We use this information to respond to you, to process your gift and to run the ministry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider receive information your browser sends with each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit (“Log Data”).
To show how many people are listening right now, our server counts anonymous listening activity (the platform and type of content only, not who you are).
When you request a song or use other interactive features, your browser sends a random device ID (stored in your browser, described below) so we can apply request limits and send you replies. It does not contain your name or email address.
Analytics and measurement tools on the Site
The Site uses the following tools from other companies. They may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and send information about your visit (such as the pages you view, your IP address and your browser details) to those companies:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how the Site is used. Information is sent to two Google Analytics properties: ours, and one used by a marketing partner who helps us with outreach.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We may use Meta’s pixel to record page views so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It is not active on the Site at the moment. If we turn it on, search terms and other text typed into a page address will be removed before the address is sent to Meta; in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it will run only if you allow ad-measurement cookies; and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as an opt-out of ad measurement and not run it.
- YouTube. Some pages, such as Interviews and sermon pages, play videos hosted by YouTube or another video service. On the Interviews page the YouTube player loads when you choose to play a video. The video service may set its own cookies.
- Qgiv. The donation form on our Donate page is provided by Qgiv and may set cookies needed to process your gift.
These tools do not run on our staff login and admin pages.
Cookies and storage in your browser
Besides the tools above, the Site itself stores a few small items in your browser. None of them are used for advertising:
- A cookie named
gwr-color-schemethat remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. - Browser storage (“local storage”) for your favourites, likes and dislikes, where you stopped in a sermon, your stream quality setting, which messages you have heard, whether you dismissed the “get the app” or update prompts, and the random device ID and listener ID used by our live features.
- A cookie named
gwr-consentthat remembers your analytics and ad-measurement choice, if you make one, and a cookie namedgwr-regionthat records only whether you are visiting from a country where we ask before using those tools. - A sign-in cookie for GraceWay staff who use the admin pages.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. If you do, the Site will forget your theme, favourites and listening progress.
Do we sell or share your information?
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell or rent the names or email addresses you give us. We don’t currently use advertising tools on the Site. If we turn on the ad-measurement tools described above, they collect information about your visit to measure our ads on other sites, which some laws treat as “sharing”; you can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page or with a GPC signal. We also use service providers, such as our hosting provider and Qgiv, to run the Site, and they handle information for us.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you from listening.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage Google ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
- You can manage how Meta uses information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
- You can contact us (below) to ask about, correct or delete information you have sent us, such as a testimony.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee its security.
Links to other sites
The Site links to sites we do not run. Their own privacy policies apply there, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through our forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
