Latest News: Legendary CCM Artist Scott Wesley Brown Releases Two Inspiring New Books
Renowned singer-songwriter, pastor, and Jesus Music pioneer Scott Wesley Brown is celebrating the release of two powerful new books that reflect his lifelong passion for Christ-centered music and ministry.
"I Wish You Jesus: The Life & Music of Scott Wesley Brown" (co-authored with Keith Manley) is a compelling biography that chronicles Brown’s remarkable journey. From his early days in the Jesus Music movement to decades of global missionary work and songwriting that has touched millions, the book explores a life marked by faithfulness over fame. It offers an intimate look at the heart behind beloved songs and a ministry that prioritized obedience and service to the Gospel.
"The Gospel According to the Hymns: The Stories and Theology Behind the Hymns" dives deep into the rich heritage of classic hymns. In this timely work, Brown shares the powerful stories and profound doctrinal truths embedded in the hymns that have shaped Christian worship for generations—serving as a response to the question of why the Church should sing the “old, old story.” The book recently launched alongside Brown’s successful recovery from a health challenge, adding even more meaning to its release.
These releases come as Brown, who has recorded more than 25 albums and ministered in over 50 countries, continues to impact the body of Christ through writing, teaching, and pastoral work.
Fans and readers can find both "I Wish You Jesus" and "The Gospel According to the Hymns" now available on Amazon.
Congratulations, Scott Wesley Brown! Your voice and message continue to point people to Jesus. 🎶✝️
