Do we have anything up there? I need something on my screen. Good morning. I want to talk to you through the Spirit, hopefully, about the Spirit.

The reason being is because our flesh is mighty active, but it's not near as great as the Spirit. That's why Jesus and the Father sent the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit... He has a two-edged sword, and they can cut asunder the thought from the intent, which means the intent is Satan that wants to interrupt us spiritually from being divinely connected to God and wants to interrupt us so that we cannot even respond.

to the instructions of God, which are life-saving. His demands are not death. His demands and instructions are that if we do them, we will save our lives, and if we don't, then we will perish. Most people got it backwards and blame God for the mess that's in our lives.

When God says your life is a mess because of your dominance, because you follow your own instructions, and you regurgitate what I said in the Word so you can do what you want to do. Therefore, our lives are a disaster zone because it's flesh that's declaring spiritual things for the flesh. It's not the spirit declaring things.

for the spirit. It's our flesh declaring divine things for our flesh. Those are not weapons of our warfare. There's a whole list of scriptures of spiritual weapons of warfare that belong to God in the spirit. And what are the weapons for? Fighting off evil. Fighting off the devil. There is a war going on between the devil and God, and it's for you.

And God has given, if you come to him and belong to him, he's given divine weapons that are yielded by the Spirit to cast down all knowledge that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. The knowledge that we receive from Satan that we say is above the knowledge of God is what brings destruction in our soul.

Are you listening? Pay attention. You can always read. Pay attention to what the Spirit has to say this morning. For the weapons of our warfare, that's you personally, are not of your flesh. But they're divinely powerful for the destruction of, it says, fortresses, many Bibles say, for the strongholds that are in your life.

The strongholds is where Satan hides, and Satan feeds you untruth, and if you receive his untruth, it will short-circuit your programming. And it will cause you to be unfaithful to God, which that was Satan's trap. It will cause you to act out on the flesh to protect yourself.

It will cause you to act out because there's demonic forces that can speak to you. We are designed to be spiritual beings so that the Holy Spirit can plug into us. But being a spiritual being, there's another spiritual being, and it's Satan. And all of his demonic forces are spiritual beings.

And people can become possessed with their own by demonic forces. And all people are hard pressed from the outside with forces of darkness speaking to you. Your mind doesn't make up doing evil. The evil is introduced as a subject into your computer. From another access point and a hidden keyboard.

Have you thought about this, or will you think about this, or just plain think about this? All the devil has to do is to get you to think, to short circuit you, because he's already given you instructions of what? To process. And if we process his information, we are lost.

The angels got lost because they processed the information Satan had to give them. So God has a remedy in Nehemiah 9 and 20. You gave your good spirit, that's the Holy Spirit, to instruct them. Who's them? Can you say me?

Yeah. You gave your Holy Spirit to instruct them, and your manna you did not withhold from their mouths. If the Holy Spirit is going to instruct you, and if you're willing to receive his instruction, then his manna, that's his arranged circumstances he has for your physical possession of food, shelter, and your need here on earth, it won't be withheld from you.

However, If the good spirit does not come to you because your spirit's too busy, if you do not listen to the instructions and follow the instructions, then you will follow your spirit or you will follow another spirit, whatever that denomination might be. Why do I say that? Because most of you claim to be Christians.

But if you deviate from the truth of what God says in Scripture, and deviate from his nature and his character, then you have become a denomination instead of someone who just follows him and says, yes, my Lord, I will follow you. Don't fall into the trap of letting the devil tell you you're confused.

You ever hear yourself say that to yourself? I'm confused. What the devil is actually telling you, shut down receiving any information because the information that's coming in is different than the information I've given you to be bad. You're not confused. Is there any confusion if I say, repeat these four words?

Is there confusion in that? But wait, but wait. That's the devil. And you can identify the devil because he does not want you to be programmed by the Spirit, and he does not want you to be exposed to real truth because the truth will set you free from what the enemy is speaking to you.

But all of a sudden you can say, I'm overwhelmed. I can't process. Oh, it's too much for me. No, it's not. What's too much for you is not listening to what he says. Then it becomes too much, because if you're not listening to what he says, who's talking to you?

And why is your brain so busy that it can't process what God's saying, but yet it's trying to process what somebody else is saying? So if you say, I'm confused, who does this scripture say is the author of confusion?

Then all of a sudden he has swept into your mind and you've agreed with him. I'm confused. No, you're not. The devil has different information than God does. And if God is speaking to you out of Scripture or out of the Spirit or through his counsel, you immediately stop thinking and start receiving what he says.

What God says does not require your capacity to think about. It requires your capacity to say, yes, my Lord, my God, I will do that. I am doing that, and I will continue to do that. It does not require thought. His scripture does not require thought, except when he says, Selah.

I say, okay, right now, what I just said, you pause and think about that. And unless God says pause and think about it, are you supposed to think about it or are you supposed to do it?

Davey, can you be my puppet for a moment? Would you mind? Now, would you go stand over there? Yeah, just right next to the guitar. Face this way.

I want you to resist what I'm saying and play like, say, well, I've got to think about that. I'm confused. You understand? Okay, you've got to do that. Whatever I say to you, you say, well, I'm confused.

Davey, walk over here. Davey, do you love God? Davey, will you mind your mommy? Davey, do you love your sisters?

But Davey, can you walk over here? Just over here. Isn't that stupid? Thank you. Thank you. Everybody give Davey a hand. Thank you. Thank you.

Isn't it silly for us to say we're confused? You are the highest power computer on earth. There's no super computer that can run faster than your brain.

And for you to come into agreement that you can't process what God says and say, hold it just a minute, that's you listening to Satan saying, do not process that, for it confuses you because I've already programmed you of what you should think. Are you listening?

Everybody look at me, not the screen. Shut off the screen. Put your books down and listen. Your fight is against the devil.

The only one that couldn't help is Jesus, not you thinking. And Jesus won't help unless you say, sir, yes, sir, I will do what you say. He requires instant obedience to what he says, not instant I'll think about it.

Nothing in Scripture did God say, Curtis, go think about it, unless you get into the Psalms. But he has said a whole phraseology that will debug me if I will pause and only run that equation These are spiritual equations to set us free from bad thinking.

Because the enemy has given us false reporting in our brain that we'll always benefit ourselves, we'll always spend the truth that it's about me, we'll always be worried about me, myself, and I, and every conversation will lead back to, but I thought, but I think, but I feel.

Who is the only person involved in that conversation? I, I, I, I. Jesus came that I could die. Do you understand that?

So I doesn't have an opinion. I can't compute. I can't think. I don't have to think to be a spiritual man. I just say, yes, Lord, I will believe you and do it. I'm not a spiritual being if I say, Lord, I don't believe you.

And if you don't believe him, you can't do it. And even if you do believe him, If you want something more than you want him, you still can't do it. So we need some spiritual warfare, and if we're going to do spiritual warfare, we have to be obedient to the Holy Spirit.

And we have to get our flesh and snot-nosed mouth out of the way and our thoughts out of the way. You say, oh, Jesus, come in. And he said, I can't get around your brain. It's too active. Shut it down, and I'll come.

I don't need you to think. You're supposed to take on my thoughts. You're supposed to take on my mind. I'm not going to come and have a conversation with your brain. He doesn't have conversations. He says you come into him and his mind and his thinking.

Are you in a conversation or are you just listening to him if you come into his thoughts? Hello?

He will fast, real fast, until you just shut up. You've got nothing worthy of saying, nothing worthy of thinking. You can only think darkness, and you can only think about yourself.

And yourself can't save you. And so if you're going to come into Jesus, there's this golden rule, like in the library of God, stop thinking and take on the mind of Christ.

Well, that means I'm supposed to use my brain. Well, go ahead and use it. Those who are going to hell, use it well.

Because our thoughts are not his thoughts. And if they're not his thoughts, I have to cast down my thoughts. But I can't cast it down unless I'm willing to replace it with what he says. Not what I think about what he says. Not what I can ruse out of my thought process about what he says.

He says, stop being confused. Do what I say. Well, I don't understand. Do what I say. Well, I'm confused. Do what I say. But I don't understand. Now, will I go and this and that? And I don't understand. Do what I say.

Who's lying? And who's standing there talking to the individual that's saying that? It's Satan. Satan is a mighty foe.

That will be taken down when Jesus returns. But until then, the great city of Babylon rules the second heaven, and it is the kingdom of the prince of darkness and the kingdom that rules over men over the whole earth right now.

Matter of fact, I think it was, I don't know, probably a couple of years ago I read the passage of Scripture about God sending the first horse. A little rocking horse, he's going to rock your world.

He says, I'll take peace from the earth. How many of you have seen that take place? He's going to cause men to make war. How many of you have seen that one starting?

I'll tell you what, I've lived more than a day or two. I remember Vietnam. I remember North Korea, the fights we had there.

I remember, I don't know, little squirmishes here and there. I went through the Cold War. I lived in the South, so I didn't have to worry about it. It was nice and warm.

Most people that want to defy God get a cold heart, and they don't want to move to the desert. Stay warm. That's just a little closer to hell without God. Freebie thinking there.

If we're in the last days, God has taken peace from the earth, which means man cannot get along. The Arabs can't get along with other Arabs.

The Russians won't get along with Europe and China won't get along with anyone except those who are against, those who don't let them dominate. They're communists, which means what you've got is mine.

And we'll redistribute some of it. And we'll use the other parts that you have to buy more weapons and build bigger bombs so we can blow you up. What you've got is mine.

There's communism. Now you don't get part of mine. What you got is theirs. You can't change that ideology. They're willing to kill for that ideology. China killed about 20 million of its people that would not conform to that ideology after the Bolshevik Revolution.

Communist Party and Russia killed about 30 million of its own people that would not conform to the new type of government. And oh yeah, by the way, it belongs to everybody, but I get to live in the big house since I'm in charge.

And oh yeah, you got to bring me pork chops and beef since I'm in charge. But it belongs to everybody. Just because there's more on my table, that doesn't matter.

Now why am I... Pickling around with governments. The governments cannot get along. Men's minds cannot get along.

When God withdraws peace from the earth, he withdraws it. And men can't go make peace treaties except in a ruse. I remember we were working on a master peace treaty with Japan.

They had all their diplomats in Washington, D.C. ready to sign a new treaty while they were bombing Hawaii. There's all kinds of new treaties like that that are willing to be made right now and in the process of being made.

You gave your good spirit to instruct them. Those who want to make war will not receive his instructions. And they also won't have the manna that comes because they receive his instructions.

You gave them water for their thirst. And we get more than our supply up here in the Northwest, praise God.

John 6:63. It is the Spirit who gives life. How about I rephrase that? Can I do that without being a hairy tick?

That's a huge tick in Texas, you know, they get hair. It is the Spirit who gives you the ability to be in God's presence and breathe God's air and have a revelation of Jesus and be conscious of heaven and have a sweetness to your soul because something has come alive in you and is now birthed and connected to him.

And the two of you are becoming one. It is the Holy Spirit that gives that. But the flesh, it doesn't profit anything.

The words I have spoken to you, that's Jesus' words in the New Testament, to you are spirit, they're from the Holy Spirit, and the revelational that will bring something into your heart.

So his words has that capacity. But today, the modern pseudo church has ruled out, spirit, you can't speak. God doesn't speak anymore.

And we will interpret what he says. It takes the spirit to bring alive what he has said so that all of a sudden we have a revelation that Jesus, you're right here.

And Jesus, I need you. And Jesus, I love you. And Jesus, I care for you. The only hope our relatives have of finding God is that we come into his spirit and his life.

No one else is going to share with them except their confusion or their religion. Religious people love talking about other religious people.

Religious people love talking about those who walk with God. Religious people love bashing and killing those who walk with God. It has always been so, starting with Cain and Abel.

And it has never changed and will never change. But the best hope that your family has is that you walk the walk, you talk the talk, and you live it.

Because you will be living and life something they do not have. If you waste your mouth and think you can convince them with your powers of speech, which are few, most people today have a vocabulary of about 5,000 words.

At the turn of the century, those who were educated had a vocabulary of about 60,000 words. Boy, have we got dumb. We don't know how to talk. We don't know how to express the gleefulness of being in God's presence.

We do not know how to express in vocabulary the joy that elates us. That we might sense him, know him, and walk with him.

I have to limit my vocabulary when I talk about those things because of the limited vocabulary we have. But that vocabulary will explode when it becomes a spiritual vocabulary of his spirit coming into our midst, of his ecstaticness.

Those who do not... believe that the Holy Spirit is here, always will refer to people as mystics. Mystic means that you're practicing witchcraft. They refer to those who are ecstatic.

See, they even changed that word. The New Testament in the book of Acts said those who were filled with the Spirit, they won't even say that. No, they just got ecstatic.

And the church that will not receive or accept the direction of the Holy Spirit still says those people are filled with the devil or those people are ecstatic or they're mystics.

But what does the Holy Spirit say? He said it's the Holy Spirit that will give you life and a consciousness of being in God's presence where we can be changed.

Those who don't want that life, you will be ridiculed if you live that life. Why? Because it threatens them and their pig pen that they will be exposed that they're Christian piggies, Christian pot-bellied piggies.

They are not Christians if they're a pig. God will transform you into his sheep. John 16:13. But when he, the spirit of truth, comes, as he came to you today, the spirit of truth has arrived in this message.

Why? Because it's the words of Jesus. And didn't he say the words of Jesus are spirit and life?

Then we're discussing the words of Jesus. This is John chapter 16:13. And it's Jesus who's speaking. I should have made this in red letters.

But when he, the Spirit of truth comes, that's the Holy Spirit, he will guide you into all truth. Are you guidable into truth?

Or do you change the truth? Well, I don't understand it that way, or I don't remember it that way, or I think something else, or here was my impression about it.

All the devil has to do is to get you to think, to short circuit you

Here is the cleaned-up version of the sermon transcription:

T, but wait a minute, isn't that the goat? Are you guided in truth? If a man of God in the Old Testament, a prophet came to you and said, Saul, you're going to go here, and you're going to find this, and you're going to do this, and then you're going to get with the prophets, and then you're going to fall on your face and start prophesying. Many people in pseudo-pig Christianity that got filled with the Holy Spirit once, and they left, think that they're great prophets. But do you know what prophecy sounded like when Saul was filled with the Spirit? He fell on the ground, couldn't move. He's like Jell-O. Oh, God, I praise you. You're wonderful. Your heaven's wonderful. It wasn't a seance to give anybody direction, nor was it a big build-up to a new career. Instead, the Holy Spirit came over him, and he fell on his backside. And was praising God in heaven.

There's the truest form of prophecy coming when the Spirit comes. It's not somebody with a crystal ball giving you the future. But he will guide you into all truth. Now, there's the problem. If you don't want all truth, the instant you have a different truth or substitute a different thought, your truth stops because he's not going to correct you. He gave you truth, and it's not open for discussion. He gave you instruction, and it's not open for switching bait. It's only open for one thing: obedience.

Most people would rather give a sacrifice than do what's right. He said, I would much rather have your obedience than your stupid sacrifice. Now, you have to give a sacrifice because you weren't obedient. And we think by giving a sacrifice of, well, I'm sorry, oh God. Well, he don't care whether you're sorry or not. He'll agree with you. You are a sorry individual, that's for sure. He wants to hear you. I won't do that anymore. And Holy Spirit, I'll do what you say and when and how. And please, you be my guide.

Now, this room, if there was a maze in it. And you would just listen to the Holy Spirit. And he's behind you. He says, turn to your left one step. And it's pitch black. And it's a canyon. And, well, I think I'll go forward. And you go forward. And then you have to go right. And then you have to go left. So, see, there I found the left you were talking about, Holy Spirit. And you never get out of the maze. It's a maze of your own thoughts instead of listening to the Holy Spirit.

The only thing you can do is fall down on the floor and beg the Holy Spirit to come back and tell him how stupid you are. I would not listen to you. Just a single, simple instruction. He'll, if you're willing to fully obey all that he has to say, he'll say, okay, stand up. Take four steps forward. I might bump into something. And you hear nothing. He's not going to argue with you.

Who's the spirit of truth? And when he speaks, he's giving you the truth. And you can substitute a thousand things. You can argue up a storm. You can tell him what you think. You can tell him the way you remember it. Well, I think I've been here before. I remember it this way. Well, who cares what you remember? Your truth is not truth.

Am I being overzealous for truth? He will guide you into all truth. And the day that you learn when he says, take one step forward. Yes, Lord. Now, take two giant steps backwards. Yes, Lord. Oh, but I don't want to go backwards. That's retreating. Take one baby step forward.

It doesn't matter whether he tells you to go forward. It doesn't matter about the maze. What matters is your feet learn to do exactly what he says, how he says, when he says. And if you're surrounded in a maze, then it's a pretty safe zone to just learn that. It's not the getting out of the maze that's important. It's the doing what he says, how he says, when he says.

Now you can cop an attitude. Well, okay, yeah, I'll do that. I'm sorry, you just went in suspension for about three months of silence. You'll be begging God when your old piggy gets out, and somebody has it hanging on a meat rack, you'll be begging God, well, speak to me.

Take one half of a step forward. But tell me what's to come. What's at the end of the hall? You're never going to get there. Just take a half a step forward. That's what's coming. Now take a right. Now if you hadn't taken a half a step, you couldn't take the right. And when you take this right, all of a sudden, there's this huge train that goes by on the path you were on.

Holy Spirit is the only one that can help you in that. John 14:7. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him. How could he say that? Because the Holy Spirit was in him.

And he was the Son of God. And if our focus is on Jesus, then the Holy Spirit's the one that's going to lead us. And if the Holy Spirit leads us, then isn't it an important thing that you know that God's your Father?

The pattern of God is incarnate within me if I'm in Jesus. John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, and no one comes to the Father but through me.

Now, we all agree with that, and the problem is you think you can run in behind a second veil where Jesus is and talk to the Father. And Jesus said, I'm sending you the Spirit. I'm sending you the Holy Spirit. He's the only member of the Godhead that's there on earth.

I'm going to the Father. I'm sending him. You listen to him. You do what he says. He is the Spirit. He's a representation of me and the Father on earth. Oh, you'd be like those who wouldn't do what I said. I'm sending him. Father's sending him. Are you going to treat him the way they treated me?

The Holy Spirit was sent by God the Father and Jesus for us to do what he says so that we might come in to knowing him, that we might come to the ability to be set free from Satan, to be set free from the demonic forces.

How about to be set free from your own arrogant, ignorant thinking? The wise that want to use their brain, God has said, I'm not going to let you find me for nothing. So that when they stand before him, they'll recite all their great poetry and their great philosophies. And they say, you know, you were a fool, I don't know you. Go away from me.

Judges 6:34, So the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew the trumpet. And the Abzerites were called together to follow him. Do you realize it was the Spirit of the Lord that came upon Gideon? If you're going to... Do what God says is the Spirit of the Lord that will come over you so you can obey what Jesus has said and you can come in to life.

1 Samuel 16:13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. Who are we talking about? David. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David. You see, the Spirit selects who he's going to come over. He will come over those who will obey him.

Jesus sent him to come over those who will obey him. If you have it in your heart to be a fleshling here on earth, he will not come over you because you're not manageable. You want to manage yourself, and he says, well, have fun. Don't call me. I'm not answering. I don't listen to flesh.

But when you're ready to surrender and get your brain out of the way, and you're silly thinking. And your silliness to say, I'm confused. I meet many people when I start talking about living a holy life before God. Well, I'm confused. Doesn't the scripture say this? Doesn't the scripture say that?

I'm confused. No, you're not. You just don't want to hear that you're supposed to stop being a happy little sinner doing it your way. You're not confused. Jesus didn't die on the cross so you could go celebrate and go whoop-dee-doo and go party and do your own thing.

You're not confused. You just don't want to hear that God said don't do that. You don't want to hear it. He said, don't associate with the reprobates of this life. Don't hang out with those who are his enemy. Don't hang out with those who are not separated to him. Don't even sit down to dinner with somebody that's not separated to him.

Never associate with evil, for I have nothing to do with evil. Be holy, for I am holy. Now, how many of you want to say, what does that mean, I'm confused? Hello? Anybody?

Oh, come on. Sure, we got one lame duck out there. Oh, what we need is to be still enough and receiving enough. One of God's men will pour the Spirit over it. Samuel was God's man. He was a prophet and a half. And he poured oil, and when he did, the Spirit overcame David for the rest of his life.

Could David get into that mindset without having been anointed? Hello? He cannot. We cannot either. I asked somebody the other day, and I said, well, how do you think the church is supposed to be run?

Well, by a collection of the brotherhood, by the ecclesia, by the elders, and by the, what are those people called? The helping people that sweep forward? Oh, deacons, they're supposed to run things. They can see all the dirt.

I said, I'm sorry, that's not what the scripture says. And there's the error of the evangelical church. I remember being a good free will Baptist member there for a while. And the whole church is run by deacons.

Most of them would smoke and chew tobacco and curse and stand outside and hee-haw, and they'd be elected to be a deacon. And they're going to select a pastor. They're going to tell the pastor what he's going to preach on. And then, how long he's going to preach, they're going to dictate to the church.

Why they couldn't hear God if he was an elephant screaming in their face? But yet, they're going to lead the church? I'm sorry, we had five-fold ministry for that. Have any of you been to the religious denominations graveyard?

Do you know what it looks like? Here lies the apostle. Here lies the prophet. Here lies that loud, noisy trumpet that said we had to do it God's way. Here lies somebody that said we had to do it a certain way called a pastor.

Here lies a teacher that said we couldn't sin. There's their graveyard. That's just a freebie for you. But that's what men do without following the Holy Spirit. We take over the church. We take over the ecclesia. Men and their flesh want to rule so they can say how good my flesh is.

God will never tell you how good your flesh is. Ah, I take that back. If it's burning on a rack and it's a nice piece of meat, he'll say, ah, it smells good. Not only does he want it dead, he's going to burn it to a crisp.

He's going to burn it to ashes until there's nothing left of it. So you can't come and pick it up again and reform it. But the helper, who's helper? The one that helps God get you to God. Not your helper. He's God's helper.

I meet so many fools. Hey, Holy Spirit, get over here and help me. Like, whoa, you're talking to him. God here on earth. Can you imagine the Pharisee?

Jesus, get over here. There's a sick guy. Get over here and heal him. That might not go too well for that person. But the helper of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, who does the Holy Spirit come in the name of?

Jesus, which all power, all authority was given to Jesus. And now the Holy Spirit comes in the name of Jesus for the purposes of Jesus.

Because it was Jesus who made all of creation. It's Jesus who holds it between his fingers. It's Jesus who modifies it to be for him, in him, through him, by him. And it would be melted away by him. Everything except your spirit.

So your spirit has to come into his spirit. And your spirit has to come into the truth of the Holy Spirit. You don't have any. I don't have any. I got no truth. Holy Spirit is the only one on earth that has truth.

And I've come to that conclusion. I have no truth. I will not change that. I know lots of scripture. I know lots of divine things. I'm not the holder of truth. I'm the knower of some truth, but the devil is the knower of truth.

Will he be saved? There are some foolish denominations that think when Jesus returns that the devil, his brother, will come back to God. Idiots. He will teach you all things and bring you to remembrance of all that I have said to you.

What is he going to teach you all things about? Your conduct towards God of how to get to Him. Your mental state of how to reprogram your brain so it can start thinking like God instead of being His enemy.

Ephesians 4:30 Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Jesus received the Holy Spirit. One member of the Godhead, another member of the Godhead came into that member of the Godhead because the member of the Godhead sent himself to the earth to be born in a body of a man.

And being a man... God the Father sent the Holy Spirit to enter that man even though it was a member of the Godhead. It had not been fully sanctified for it had not been sacrificed yet. Until Jesus was crucified, until Jesus was resurrected.

When did Jesus officiate for God? Was it not after his resurrection? Jesus brought truth before. But it was after his resurrection that he ascended to the throne. Would you agree?

So was he given all power and authority before he died and before he ascended? No, he just only came to show us, here, you go down to the river, you get rid of yourself.

And, oh, yeah, I gave my carpenter shop away and all my tools. And, well, I had some really nice Rockler tools and all kinds of stuff. And I just said, there you go. I'm going, my body, mind, and all my purposes belong to the Father.

I don't even have a place to lay my head except in his presence. If you can make a decision you don't have a place to lay your head except in his presence, your head can begin to be reconstructed in his thought process.

So you can be free from the demonic thinking that you were born with. If you were sealed for the day of redemption, by whom? Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God.

If you grieve him, he leaves. I've met many Pentecostal Christians that got baptized in the Spirit. But I put on my spiritual binoculars, and they look like hell. They act like hell. They walk with all the children of hell.

They approve all the wickedness of the world, and I can't find the Holy Spirit amongst them. They lost the seal because they lost the presence of God. Well, you need a scripture reference?

Would you believe and agree with me that if somebody is raised from the dead, it was through the power of the Holy Spirit? If somebody was healed, it was through the power of the Holy Spirit.

And so they're standing there testifying before God, screaming at his face, but we heal the sick, we raise the dead in your name. And he said, you did those things for your own vainglory. Go away from me.

You were a worker of your own glorification. And you only work for yourself and what you wanted on earth. You never took time to know me. So if the Holy Spirit is going to walk with you, it's for the purpose of training you that you might know Jesus and you might know the Father.

And you can't know them if you don't obey what the Holy Spirit has to say. He has some wonderful things to say. It will be life-threatening to your flesh, but it will be life-giving to the presence of God in your life.

Thessalonians 1 Thessalonians 5:19. Do not quench the spirit. Anybody know what quench is? Holy Spirit says, come to you, get rid of your anger, get the words out of your mouth.

See, he just walked up with a bucket of water on your blazing tongue and head and threw it right in your face. Let me quench this fire that's within you.

Well, if you get set on fire by the Holy Spirit and he says, don't do that. You can throw a bucket of water on him. I'm done.

Here is the cleaned-up sermon transcription:

See what quenching the Holy Spirit is? You say, I refuse to do your truth. Isaiah 61:1. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me. Who is that? Jesus? Aren't we supposed to do the same thing? Let the Spirit of God be upon you because the Lord has anointed me. As he also anoints you, what's he anointed you for? To bring good news? Boy, most of the news pseudo-Christians do is about themselves and their religion and what they want from God. Like he's a cow that they're going to go milk. And they want to tell people how good a cow God is. They want to fill their jar and taste the cream that I got from God.

Because the Lord has anointed me to bring the good news to the afflicted. Who's the first afflicted that needs the good news? Yeah, me. What's the good news? You can come into a spiritual life and you can come away from the life of men and you can come away from the life that you want to live in your flesh, that you want to be the ruler.

See, Satan has lied to you and said you get to rule. He lied to the angels. They were standing there. Now, if you'll bow down to me, I will give you rulership. Did he? Hello? They didn't get rulership. He lied. Oh, that's his language. It's the language of lies. That's his language.

And he wants you to speak his language so you cannot abide with the Holy Spirit that's going to expose Satan and he's going to bring absolute truth and brilliant light to set you free from the forces of darkness. However, if you like hiding in the shadows and wearing the cloak of deception, his light's not going to shine in there.

You're protecting the darkness within you so the demonic forces get to continue to talk to you. But Jesus can set you free through the power of the Spirit if you will come out into the light, the demonic forces. How do you come out into the light? Admit who you are, what you think, how you think, that you don't think. Not spiritual thoughts.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted. If you're brokenhearted about the way you think, that's a good start. And Jesus will begin to put your brain back together in a way. What do you do to a broken bone in an arm? You set it, then you bind it up.

His good news will set and bring the truth, and now he's going to bind it up so it can grow together. And become functional. He wants your brain to think, but on the basis of what God says. He wants your brain to be active, but upon the basis of what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you about.

Do you proclaim liberty to the captives? Do you need some liberty from me, myself, and I? Most people in life are too busy to do anything for God. Because the less you do for God, the more busy you're going to be for yourself.

Well, I was doing this and I was doing that. Well, of course you do. And you'll have 47 other thousand things to do. Because if God sees, you really don't want to do this for me, then oh, I'll make you busy. And if he doesn't do that, then he'll make you lazy. He will send a spirit of stupor over you.

Why? Because he's supposed to live in, and his son is supposed to be busy about his father's business. And if he sees in you that you really don't want to be, he'll turn you over to a spirit of stupor. But yet you'll think, oh, I'm so busy. I don't have, and I can't do.

And no, you don't want to do, so you get turned over to that. But it's an empty, dry place, and it's an incriminating place. It's a destructive place because you know you're out of place and you know you don't want to serve God.

But yet you don't want anybody else to know that you don't want to serve God. See, God will expose what's in the heart. That's part of his truth that will come. What should be your response if you see that truth within you?

Lord, I want to be free from this. But you can't be free unless you say, I'm lazy. That's one of the curses of God is people to be lazy. But here's the thing.

If you're lazy towards God, where's your laziness going to bleed over into? Your health, your finances, your future, your hope. He came to bring you a proclamation of liberty. If you're captured in your own thoughts and so jammed up, you need liberty.

The Holy Spirit says, come out, live for your God, do everything for your God. Come out, and he will set you free, since you're a prisoner to your flesh that doesn't want to do anything for God.

Acts 10:19 and 20. When Peter was reflecting on the vision, and what vision was he's given? See, Cornelius, a Gentile, up the coast, excuse me, down the coast.

Had a vision and visitation from an angel. And he told Cornelius, send for Peter, he's in Joppa. Send for Peter, he's in Joppa. And he will tell you how to get to me.

This is a Gentile. No Gentile had come to God yet. He was a noble. He was a Roman. He was a righteous man, which means that he practiced everything that God said and believed that God existed, but was not a part of the Jews.

He was not a proselytite, but he was faithful to Jehovah. And God saw his faithfulness. And so he sent his angel, and his angel goes down there.

And the angel says, send for Peter. Peter is up in Joppa, and so he sends for him. And before these guys get there, and this guy, he's like a centurion. I mean, he's probably got 1,000 men under his command.

He probably has a staff in his household of maybe 50 people just to take care of his family and take care of all of his needs. And everybody in there understood that he loved God.

And the Gentiles are not supposed to associate with the Jews or vice versa because God had not brought them in. They were pigs. He said have nothing to do with them. So that was what God's command was.

So Peter needed a revelation. So the Holy Spirit comes and the Holy Spirit begins to give Peter a vision. He lets down a net, and praise God, it's got shrimp and oysters and other shellfish in it. They weren't supposed to eat those.

And some other creepy things. And he said, God speaking to Peter, which is filled with the spirit, but a very religious man when it comes to keeping what God said in the law. That's righteous of him.

And God says, take and eat. He's not so, Lord. I would be unclean. I wouldn't be able to approach you. And he said, don't call that unclean that I've made clean.

Now, God had to give that twice to him. And then he says, while he's reflecting on what God had to say twice, and that's important if God said something twice to you.

That's why I usually preach the same message twice. But get up, go downstairs. Why? Because those men were at his door and knocking.

Now you get up and go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings. For I sent them myself. And a great outpouring of the Spirit happened in Cornelius' home.

Peter came, well, I don't know what to say, but I guess I'll give a really good sermon and tell him what happened over at the Book of Acts in Jerusalem and tell him about all the glorious things and the healings I saw.

He just, you know, he got about three sentences out, and all of a sudden the Holy Spirit comes into the room just like it did on the... The day that the Holy Spirit was poured out. The Holy Spirit starts coming. Lighting upon canoes and everybody.

And everybody in there starts speaking in the language of angels. And Peter, he just totally interrupted in his message. What he had to say didn't count for much. And God didn't need him.

That's all God needs you to accept. It's what he wants to do. And he don't want your comment about it. Romans 8:14 and 17, for all who are being led by the Spirit of God, there's the key.

If you're led by what you think and what you say, you're not led by the Spirit. If you're led by your prejudice, your hate, your aggravations, your angers, your rage, you're not led by the Holy Spirit.

You're not even a good grasshopper. But all who are led by the Spirit of God, that means you vacated your thinking because your thinking is not right, and you accepted his programming, and you constantly confess my programming is not right.

You said this, that's what I do. It's that simple. You said this, that's what I do. If you ever say, well, I'm confused, it's because your flesh is there wanting to do something else.

And the devil's there saying, you can't compute what God says. Because the fool should shut his mouth. Well, I'm confused. What does that mean?

And we need to talk about this. And what about philosophy? And what about psychology? And God just says, shut your mouth. Is that hard? Not if you listen to the Holy Spirit, because he'll give you power from on high.

To be able to close that thing. And you can't close this thing unless you shut this thing down and say, you're listening to the Holy Spirit. I will do it your way.

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. Now Paul makes it clear that we're in the adoption process. Kids that are being adopted are still referred to as sons.

Would you agree? If you go down to an orphanage and there's a 10-year plan of you adopting a child, you can't shortcut it. It's the way it kind of used to be, different now, especially if you're weird, got pink hair.

They'll give you a kid that's weird and got antennas. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again. But you've received the spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, Daddy, Daddy.

That's what Abba means. The spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. But he just got through saying we're being adopted. We're not fully adopted yet.

So we have to change our thinking in order to be considered for the adoption. If you change your thinking. Your mouth will totally change. If you change your thinking, your ugly mannerism of me, myself, and I will change.

If you change your thinking, your hostility. If you change your thinking, you won't always be asking, am I okay? Are we okay? Is everything okay?

That's somebody begging for the spirit of schizophrenia to come. I'm only okay if I'm in him. If you have to ask if you're okay, who are you asking about?

You're asking about yourself. Are you wanting a response from somebody to tell me, why do I need to tell you your flesh is okay? You understand that rude statement?

You say, am I okay? You're not asking me if you're okay. You're asking me, can I tolerate your ignorance, your arrogance, your foolishness, and will I still like you because you're a bimbo?

You realize that's the mix of the question. It's got mixed motives all in there about me, myself, and I.

Will you accept me being a rat? Am I okay? Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we're children of God.

I think it would be more profitable to say, I'm in you, spirit. If you're in the spirit of God and you're being adopted. There is no I in there. There's only a son of God being adopted.

The I has to die in order to be adopted. It testifies with our spirit that we're children of God. And if children, heirs, that means you get something now and you get something then.

Heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ. Did Christ inherit something when he died on the cross?

Hello. Inherited the heavens and the earth and the throne. And I enter into his presence, his mind, his heart.

And what inheritance did he make for me? A new kingdom. That I can come into. Kingdom of truth. If indeed we suffer with him.

Oh, didn't have to throw that in there. Like a rotten egg. No. Your flesh is going to suffer because it can't do what it wants. But if you'll die, it'll stop whining.

If you die to it, people who are dead don't want anything. Swim by the graveyard and see if you hear any voices on the way home. They don't want anything anymore.

Nobody's saying, honey, would you get my socks for me? Nobody's saying, honey, will you get coffee for me? There's no honey, would you do?

It's silent. There's no need. There's no want. There's no communication. If you're dead, you won't...

If you're dead to God, you won't have any need for him. If you're alive to yourself, all your needs will be about you and narcissistic, worrying about you.

But if you die to you... Then the Spirit can live in you and Jesus can live in you to raise you up to be a son.

And as a son, what would the little son be talking about? My dad's bigger than your dad. At least it's not about me.

It's about him. And I hope you understand that other people that belong to the world, their dad's the devil.

And it's okay to say my dad's bigger than Satan. It may not be wisdom to do that. It'd be profitable in your own brain that you realize your father is bigger than Satan.

If we suffer with him, so that we may also be glorified with him. Suffering means you don't get to say what you want. Suffering means that you've done away with your process to say what you want.

Because if you don't do away with the process, you'll be filled with so much gas, you'll be pickled. And I can't think of anything else. Well, your brain's pickled.

And it can't think God thoughts because it doesn't want to. It wants somebody to do something about it to let it nurse on its own ego or its own flesh or its own thought process for its own glory.

Holy Spirit, walk away if you want to do that. Just say, well, how fun with your little friends?

He came to rescue, and if you don't want to follow him, he walks on down the road and finds those who do want to follow him. I want to be one of those who want to follow him.

Finally, 1 John 4:6, for we are from God. Who's making that statement? An apostle that's in leadership of the church.

It's not the common believer in the church. The apostle just declared, I am from God.

He knows God and he listens to us. If we are from God, he who knows God listens to us. Why?

Because God's got his hierarchy. Those who will not listen and only will listen to themselves will rule out God's leaders.

He who is not from God does not listen to us. Am I speaking for the Lord? No glorification of myself in that. But it's what being said from him in his words.

Then if you don't listen, you don't belong to God. If you don't want to hear it, you don't belong to God. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

How do we know? Whether we will listen when the spirit starts speaking through one of his representatives. If we will not listen, We'll listen to our own voice, and we'll become our own authority, and we'll make our own denomination.

I knew a man that started a denomination because he was mad at the Southern Baptist. He got kicked out of the church for Diddle and the Piano Player, and he just said, that's not right.

I shouldn't take my license away to drag other people. Instead, I'm going to start a new denomination, and it doesn't matter what people do or what stages of life, and we'll call it Christianity.

And he selected druggies and dopies for elders. He gathered up thousands of people in this valley to follow heresy and become heretics. He confused many. He brought condemnation over many. He will cause thousands and thousands to be cast into the lake of fire.

They will weep and gnash their teeth because he gave them something false. The only thing we need is truth from the Holy Spirit that Jesus has spoken. Not what men think.

If you're swayed by what men think, which if you walk with God, I promise you it's going to be critical. If you're a jerk in this life, you're going to receive criticism, but don't think it has anything to do with your spirituality.

It has to do because you're just a hateful being here on earth. But if you truly walk with God and in the Spirit, those who are here on earth that do not will despise you.

And the scripture says, rejoice. Rejoice when you find yourself despitefully being misused. Rejoice when you find yourself being talked to. It means you belong to the Lord.

Rejoice when you find yourself being ridiculed by the wicked of this world. Because what they see is Jesus in your actions and in your thoughts and in your mind.

And if they don't see Jesus in your actions, thoughts, and minds, you're just a reprobate that's religious that they tolerate so you can feel good about yourself.

God's calling us into the spirit of truth and it will liberate us from our thinking. And the only time I'm at peace when I just shut down the clock and say, I don't have to think about whether that's right or wrong.

You said, do this. That's what I'll do. He said, don't do that. That's what I don't do. He said, believe this. That's what I believe. He said, don't believe that. That's what I don't believe.

He made it too simple, I think. Those who are well-educated or really want to be religious have made it complicated. He made it a walk by faith. By faith, Abraham, when God said, Abraham, come and follow me.

He said, I'm on it. Abraham, come and walk with me. Yes, sir. There was no questions. There was no thinking it out. There was only a response of one thing.

A spirit of truth called to him, and he said, okay. It's that simple in your relationship with God. Holy

Here is the cleaned-up sermon transcription:

Huts out the spiritual, and all it can do is recite knowledge, and then it gets more confused and more confused. It's simple. If you have a computer that has bad programming, what do you do? Unplug it. Hello? And then until you can reboot it off of a hard drive or a disk, don't turn it back on. You need the right disk to go in the drive, and the computer has to boot off the drive, not what it's got on its disk, because the disk is corrupted. It's called the reboot, isn't it?

And ladies, it says don't pay attention to what you've got in your bottom drawer. Instead, you bypass everything and you reboot off of this disk that has the right programming. You can't do both. You can't do a mixture, a little bit off of the disk and a little bit out of the computer. The object of rebooting with a disk, the disk of the Holy Spirit. A disc of what Jesus says - that's what I believe. It gets rid of all the untruth and we don't have to process. Your mind will be free.

And what a joy when your mind is set free! If your mind is set free, it says that if Jesus sets you free, you will be free indeed. Let Jesus set you free. You no longer have to be a great long thinker. Praise God, we have someone that's already done those things for us. All we have to do is do what he says, and we'll be happy little campers.

Davey, if you do what your mommy says, you're going to be a happy little boy, aren't you? Eh? Yeah. Good lad. If you do what Jesus says in Scripture, you'll do what the Holy Spirit says, and you'll do the reboot. With his desk. Whenever I read scripture, I stick it in. That's what I believe.

If there's any disagreement in here, I shut it down and reboot off of what the Word says, what Jesus spoke. And I don't have to run programs to get rid of bugs. I go back to the initial program that man was programmed in the garden to fellowship, know, see, feel. To walk with, to be a part of a living God. I come to life if I'll reboot. I'll live in death and in dark clouds if I have to think about it.

Jesus gives you an invitation out of your crummy thinking today. He says, come out. Come out of your prison that's in your mind. Come out of your thoughts that are woke. Come out of your thoughts that are broken. Stop thinking that you're a master thinker. He says, master thinkers can't find me. People who will stop their thinking and make me, their master, will find me.

Make him your master today. He's waiting upon you. He wants to reprogram you. He has a great reprogramming center. In Jesus' name, hear what he says. Live in it and walk in it. And you will become the happiest person on earth.

Serving your God is nothing but pure joy. Walking with him is pure heaven. Amen?

May God richly bless you, and I think we'll be seeing you at 5 o'clock, isn't that correct? Yeah, 5 o'clock for meeting with God. It's a discipleship meeting. It's where you can reiterate the things that God spoke to you today and be a witness of what he spoke to you, what truth he gave you.

And in there, he sometimes gives us lots of application of how to carry through, doesn't he? A marvelous time in him. Come and join us. And thank you guys out there for joining us. And Brenda, everybody in here is praying for you. Everybody loves you. We praise God for you. Amen.
